Dual-headquartered in New York and London, my client is a leading provider of credit ratings, commentary and research. Dedicated to providing value beyond the rating through independent and prospective credit opinions, by offering global perspectives shaped by strong local market experience and credit market expertise. The additional context, perspective and insights we provide help investors to make important credit judgments with confidence. They also provide credit market data, analytical tools and risk services to the global financial community. In addition to offering proprietary market-based content, my client distributes the ratings, research and financial data through a variety of flexible platforms with operations in more than 30 countries.

Travel : 40% : Basic between £85k & £95k, £145k OTE

Role: To develop a business strategy and execute on sales plans in order to find new areas of growth with existing clients whilst managing your portfolio.
Responsibilities: Selling to Tier one banks a variety of products including credit solutions, debt markets, credit and macro intelligence.

The book value is 14M USD approx, consists of 5 accounts. 3 French Banks, one German and 2 others.

Key responsibilities will include:

-Create and implement a Sales Strategy for the Information Services specifically aimed at driving sales and revenue growth within Sell Side, Corporates and Consulting groups, whilst liaising with the necessary internal stakeholders where required.
-Drive new business sales through direct client engagement – including identifying new prospects, initial engagement and sales negotiations with existing clients through a variety of methods, including outbound calling, WebEx demonstrations, client meetings, and attending conferences. 
-Work closely with Sales Directors to build a consistent sales approach for Debt Market solutions to current and prospective customers.
-Client types include Sell Side, Corporates and Consulting groups.
-Act as subject matter expert for the sales team during pre-sales qualification, trials, demo’s, and provide support throughout client onboarding. 
-Work closely with the Product team to ensure our value proposition is well crafted, well communicated and well suited for the target audience. 
-Collaborate with Market and Solutions Development teams to drive sales enablement, better understand our clients, and focus on sales campaigns to increase revenue. 
-Obtain new logo clients, while also focusing on the collaboration with book owners and account managers to cross sell and upsell with existing clients. 
-Consistently reach/ exceed sales and activity goals on a monthly basis. 
Organize, manage, and report sales pipeline progression in SalesForce.com.

You:

Strong network within the Credit Solutions, Debt Market and Corporates at the level of (Chief Risk Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Credit Officer level within Financial Institutions) 
Significant, demonstrable success in solutions sales. 
Solid understanding of rating agencies environment and deep knowledge of Capital markets workflow. 
5/ 6 years of capital markets sales/business development experience within financial services. 
Proven track record in developing new business and growing revenue streams. 
Multi-level selling skills and experience dealing across global financial institutions required. 
Strategic thinking should be a personal strength. 
Self-motivated and able to generate ideas and demonstrate initiative, tenacity and perseverance 
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
Fluent English and French is essential. Other languages beneficial.
